I would like some training in Forensic Radiography, where can I get it?

AFR works with universities to develop post-graduate education in forensic imaging. At the present time, there are 2 post-graduate courses in forensic radiography, both of which are modules of Masters programmes;

AFR also offer some training courses with the emphasis on developing practical skills. Further information on our courses can be found in the personal development section of this site. We can also provide policy/position papers and CPD lectures on various aspects of forensic radiography. You may also like to look at our useful links section for internet references and books on forensics.

The Inforce Foundation also runs a programme of incident mortuary courses. These are aimed at experienced forensic radiographers who want to gain practical experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, setting up and running an incident mortuary following a mass fatality incident. Further information can be found on the Inforce website.

The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries offers two programmes that may be of interest to forensic radiographers. These are The Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences and The Diploma in Forensic Human Identification. Further information can be found on their website.
