AFR and College of Radiographers Joint Conference 3rd November

AFR are pleased to announce that the annual forensic conference has been reinstated. This successful and well attended conference is open to all comers with discounted rates for AFR members. Previous years have been well attended and in some cases oversubscribed. The conference is jointly organized by the AFR and SCOR conference committees, this year’s event is aimed at Forensic Radiography within the Hospital environment and covers a wide range of topics including NAI, Drug Abuse, Gunshot wounds and general issues around imaging in the hospital mortuary. The topics are presented from a radiographer’s prospective as well as by external experts in the associated field. It is hoped that this conference will cover aspects of forensic radiography that are poignant to all radiographers in their daily working practice and may have been overshadowed by more high profile forensic work over the last few years.
The joint conference was suspended last year due to AFR training commitments and both AFR and SCOR are pleased to have been able to host the event this year. AFR members are encouraged to attend as this provides an opportunity for professional networking amongst AFR members as well as the conference CPD opportunity.
