Research Team presents findings on Mexican Mummy Research
A research team, led by professors Jerry Conlogue and Ron Beckett revealed its research findings Aug. 30 from a unique investigation of 22 mummies found in Guanajuato, Mexico.
The press conference was held at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford.
Ronald Beckett and Jerry Conlogue, are the co-directors of Quinnipiac University's Bioanthropology Research Institute and former hosts of National Geographic's Mummy Road Show.
The third member of the team is Jerry Melbye, director of the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University. Yvette Bailey, director of Quinnipiac's Radiology Assistant Program, also participated in the examination process and will assist with presenting findings at the press conference.
