UK Forensic Radiography Response TeamUKFRRT Annual Plan The sub-committee will continue to work with the Home Office to secure funding for training and arrangements for the release of NHS staff for deployment in response to mass fatality incidents. Training To develop UKFRRT training in conjunction with the home office. This will be a 2 day event that will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of mass fatality radiography. Theory day would include introduction to UK DVI, health & safety, who’s who, welfare, continuity of evidence, paperwork, elements of mass fatality radiography, FiMag and how the assessment process will work. Practical day will include the use of all the available home office equipment and techniques used in elements of mass fatality radiography. Assessment for theory & practical training is required with set criteria as well as a pass & fail rate. Recruitment The sub-committee will develop a recruitment plan to increase the number of UKFRRT Team members to meet the Home Office requirements |
